RESPONSIBILITIES:
➢ Establish the on-going monitoring and evaluation system with appropriate LFA
➢ Develop & supervise an on-going monitoring and evaluation strategy
➢ Ensuring that M&E plan is modified and updated as improved information becomes available (updating indicators, baseline and targets upon the receipt of information from technical studies and in-take surveys)
➢ Ensuring that management staff and programmes and donors are receiving adequate support to execute their M&E responsibilities (providing monitoring and evaluation training of staff and programme implementers)
➢ Support the implementation of Key Performance Indicators
➢ Consolidate monthly, quarterly, semi-annual & annual programmatic reports;
➢ Manage and ensure accuracy and quality of monitoring data reported at all levels;
➢ Manage all incoming data to ensure accuracy and adherence to set quality standards;
➢ Maintain the databases and oversee routine maintenance as needed to ensure data integrity;
➢ Mentor and supervise the all M&E related agencies/resources
➢ Streamline data collection and analysis procedure to ensure fast access to data and/or information;
➢ Suggest ways to facilitate collection and the flow of data within the different programmes;
➢ Preparing Terms of Reference and conducting procurement of various M&E contracts (Management Information Systems, data quality review etc.)
➢ Conduct impact assessments to evaluate the long-term effects on landscapes, livelihoods, and community well-being.
➢ Assess the maintain the quality of the internal and by certification bodies
➢ Shadow the resources during assessments and update the improvement plans and findings
➢ Carry out training and performance reviews of the resources as required
➢ Identify and implement improvement opportunities from the MEL reviews and report on the same
➢ Ensure impartiality of the M&E process to uphold the credibility of the reporting
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
➢ Graduate /Postgraduate in Agricultural Sciences/Social Work with minimum 8 years of experience.
➢ Experience of working on MEL systems with Development agencies /international donors/sustainability systems/organisational MEL functions.
➢ Fluent in English and Microsoft Suite.
➢ Preference for candidates with experience in tea or other agro- commodities.
