Title: Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) and Implementation Quality

Position –Manager / Dy. Manager(Location – 10 to 12 years)

Experience: 10 to 12 years

Travel: About 50%

RESPONSIBILITIES:
➢ Establish the on-going monitoring and evaluation system with appropriate LFA
➢ Develop & supervise an on-going monitoring and evaluation strategy
➢ Ensuring that M&E plan is modified and updated as improved information becomes available (updating indicators, baseline and targets upon the receipt of information from technical studies and in-take surveys)
➢ Ensuring that management staff and programmes and donors are receiving adequate support to execute their M&E responsibilities (providing monitoring and evaluation training of staff and programme implementers)
➢ Support the implementation of Key Performance Indicators
➢ Consolidate monthly, quarterly, semi-annual & annual programmatic reports;
➢ Manage and ensure accuracy and quality of monitoring data reported at all levels;
➢ Manage all incoming data to ensure accuracy and adherence to set quality standards;
➢ Maintain the databases and oversee routine maintenance as needed to ensure data integrity;
➢ Mentor and supervise the all M&E related agencies/resources
➢ Streamline data collection and analysis procedure to ensure fast access to data and/or information;
➢ Suggest ways to facilitate collection and the flow of data within the different programmes;
➢ Preparing Terms of Reference and conducting procurement of various M&E contracts (Management Information Systems, data quality review etc.)
➢ Conduct impact assessments to evaluate the long-term effects on landscapes, livelihoods, and community well-being.
➢ Assess the maintain the quality of the internal and by certification bodies
➢ Shadow the resources during assessments and update the improvement plans and findings
➢ Carry out training and performance reviews of the resources as required
➢ Identify and implement improvement opportunities from the MEL reviews and report on the same
➢ Ensure impartiality of the M&E process to uphold the credibility of the reporting

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
➢ Graduate /Postgraduate in Agricultural Sciences/Social Work with minimum 8 years of experience.
➢ Experience of working on MEL systems with Development agencies /international donors/sustainability systems/organisational MEL functions.
➢ Fluent in English and Microsoft Suite.
➢ Preference for candidates with experience in tea or other agro- commodities.

Title: System Assurance & Implementation

Position –Manager(Location – 12 to 15 Years)

Experience: 12 to 15 Years

System Assurance & Implementation:

➢ Monitor and implement the trustea Assurance System towards an effective certification programme maintaining the organisational goals.
➢ Designing and rolling out the trustea implementation programme template for field implementation
➢ Onboarding, training, and evaluation of the implementation system personnel to ensure roll out in in line with program principles and ethics.
➢ Provide regular status reports and verification and field implementation program performance analysis
➢ Ensuring effective and credible Monitoring and Evaluation System for the field implementation work.
➢ Independent field assessments on audit and implementation system effectiveness, credibility and ethics.
➢ Working with IT to create a digital template to monitor effectiveness and performance of the field implementation.
➢ Managing effective customer feedback on credibility and ethical field implementation of the trustea code
➢ Continuously analyses the performance against the assessment and implementation system goals. Identifies bottlenecks and corrective actions required. Takes the necessary measures to ensure the corrections are implemented.
➢ Ensures that the Assurance System is set up to conform to global best standards in line with ISEAL codes and continuous improvement guidelines thereof.
➢ Imparts training on the code to the certification body auditors.
➢ Maintains the digital Audit framework to ensure satisfactory internal and external delivery of the online portal.
➢ Closely work with IT function on all digital tools of the organisation related to Assurance and Implementation
➢ Independent field assessments on audit system effectiveness, credibility and ethics.
➢ Keeps abreast of the latest legal requirements as applicable to the scope of the code and ensures compliance of the requirements.
➢ Evaluation of performance of audit agencies and audit personnel
➢ Carries out periodic reviews of the trustea code requirements in line with latest developments and ensure the process of changes to the code as per organisation policy.
➢ Reports on Assurance and Implementation system as per KPIs
➢ Ensures impartiality is maintained in the assurance and implementation system operation.
➢ Provides regular status reports of the verification program performance analysis
➢ Liaises with the Certification Bodies and verified/to be verified entities to ensure seamless onboarding and verification.
➢ Ensures effective and credible Monitoring and Evaluation and Learning (MEL)System for trustea code.
➢ Independent field assessments on audit system effectiveness, credibility and ethics
➢ Corrective and preventive actions on all areas of identified improvement in the Assurance system.
➢ Manage the ISEAL Alliance accreditation process

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:
➢ Master’s degree in agriculture, social sciences or related fields with proven auditing background.
➢ Proven experience with international/national social sector or sustainability organisations, preferably in Agri commodities in assurance and implementation.
➢ Experience in working with and managing Sustainability systems implementation and audits.
➢ Minimum 12-15 years of experience in related field.
➢ Proficient in Microsoft Office trustea is an Indian sustainability standard and verification system for the tea sector. The standard is working with smallholder tea growers, bought leaf factories, estates and packers to address some of the key challenges in the industry including working conditions, health and safety of tea workers, water pollution, food safety, soil erosion and contamination. ➢ Lead auditor qualification and field audit experience in ISO standards or sustainability systems in assessing system compliance
➢ Experience of leading a team.
